Lay Lake, Alabama
Lay Lake is a large reservoir on the Coosa River in central Alabama, with 289 miles of shoreline and room for boating, fishing, swimming and every other kind of outdoor fun. Public boat ramps, picnic areas, nature trails and restrooms are available around the lake – and from Emma's View you can skip the ramp entirely and launch from our own.
Our lake house sits in Shelby, in Shelby County, an easy drive from Birmingham – close enough for a spontaneous weekend, far enough to feel like a real getaway.
